Crafty Chica workshops: Sticker Journaling + Junk Journals

Coming this August, not one but TWO new in-person workshops.

Both are themed around my current obsessions – sticker journaling and junk journals!

Sticker journaling: Sunday, August 3 at 12 pm at Amor Collective

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn the art of sticker journaling. Artist Kathy Cano-Murillo will show you several methods inculding journaling, illustration/doodling, folding and cutting your pages to make your stickers really pop.

You will recieve:

Blank journal

Two glitter gel pens

Sticker pack

PLUS: Community table of markers, pens, scissors, and oodles of more stickers for you to use in your journal!

You are welcome to bring your own stickers, pens, whatever you’d like to add to your pages.

Junk journaling: Sunday, August 10th at 12 pm at Amor Collective

This is an in-depth workshop that shows the art of junk journaling. All supplies are included and that means you will build your own hardback bound book using assorted papers. You’ll then learn how to decorate the pages with personal ephemera, lettering designs and more.

Taught by artist, Kathy Cano-Murillo (The Crafty Chica), you’ll see a variety of examples for inspiration. Kathy will have a binding machine to build your journal.

Supplies are included but you are free to bring your own personal papers, stickers, ephemera, etc.

There will also be shared supplies such as markers, pens, stickers, washi tape, novelty ephemera, and more.
