Red and white cardstock or paper – or any color you want the tulips to be

Folding Instructions for This Mother’s Day Card

This craft Mother’s Day card is simple to assemble and makes a big impression. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Print the template, and get your scissors to start cutting it out.

Step 2: Once you have cut out all the pieces, place the template for the flower pot on a piece of cardstock and cut along the edges. The cutout template for the flower pot placed on a piece of cardstock.

Step 3: Once you have cut out the cardstock flowerpot template, fold it in half. The flower pot template is folded in half once cut out.

Step 4: Cut out the insert using the template and a piece of cardstock. The flowerpot template cut out from cardstock.

Step 5: Now use the tear drop template to cut out three petals for the tulip from colored paper. We’ve used red, but you can use any color you prefer, perhaps your mom’s favorite color? The tear drop template is used to make the tulip leaves from red paper.

Step 6: Apply glue to one of the petals. Take the two other petals, fold them in half and glue them to the main petal. Two hands glueing two folded petals to the main petal.

Step 7: Make two more tulip flowers using the method described above. Three tulip flowers in total are needed.

Step 8: Use the leaf template to cut out four leaf shapes from green paper. The leaf template is used to cut out four leaf shapes from green paper.

Step 9: Glue the leaves to the top of the insert. The leaves are glued to the top of the flower pot.

Step 10: Glue the tulips to the top of the insert, above the leaves. Tulips glued onto the insert on top of the leaves.

Step 14: Put it all together, and add a gift card if you’d like! The final product - a beautiful mother's day flower pot card.
